- Designed and developed the house to Passive House standards, including program, daylighting, building envelope, PV array, green roof, canopy, etc. - Created physical models of building for exploration and display. - Conducted research on site typography, solar analysis, community needs, and architecture characteristics of Deanwood, Washington DC. - Researched and compared several green materials, like insulation. - Worked along side architects, engineers, interior, and lighting design students. - Reached out to companies to seek sponsorship. - Was present and has clear understanding of the construction of the house.
- Manage all aspects of the non-profit organization towards earth-aiding goals of advocating, researching, and coating roofs white. - Led team to win 3 highly competitive grants; one out of thousands to win the Clinton Global Initiative University Commitment Grant. - Guide staff and volunteers towards achieving goals and tasks. - Coordinate events, meetings, and research experiments. - Manage networking, financial, and legal responsibilities.
- Designed and submitted a multi-use building proposal that suited the needs of residents of Central City, New Orleans. - Produced plans, sections, and elevations detailing building for clients. - Modeled and rendered building using digital programs. - Generated site maps, material research, and documents for proposal.
- Streamlined all necessary aspects of their green energy advocacy programs, like presentations, information documents, and contacts. - Administered responsibilities, including updating website, organizing and writing documents, contacting property managers, etc. - Researched, wrote, and designed brochures, information flyer, and material cards.
- Studied the needs and issues of the Gowanus area in Brooklyn, NY. - Designed and mapped ways to address those issues of abandonment. - Proposed a centralized community plan and trafficking to liven the area.
- Visited rooftops to collect measurements for producing roof garden plans. - Designed and sketched placement of green roofs, potted plants, and furniture. - Helped run and manage the store, displays, funds, and customer service. - Created floral arrangements for clients.
